GFCI11 describes Tokyo as a Global Leader which is both broad and deep. It has particular strength's in banking and insurance. Between GFCI1 and GFCI11 Tokyo has closed the gap to leaders London and New York, but has not shown the same level of improvement as other Asian centres (such as Seoul). However, it remains an leader in this region and is only behind Hong Kong and Singapore in the index.
