The Rushlight Awards

The Rushlight Awards are recognised as one of the UK’s leading environmental award schemes. First begun in 2007, the Rushlight Awards have become an established event recognizing the clean technology stars of today. This year’s event will be held in London near the end of January 2010.

The Rushlight Awards provide:

1. An opportunity for the cleantech entrants and others to display their technologies in a Showcase during the day.

2. An afternoon conference with a specific focus on funding clean technology development and deployment and what is needed by the cleantech companies themselves, the investors/ banks and the intermediaries to assist the route to market for the clean technologies of today.

3. Workshops with specific themes such as preparing to float on AIM, VC investor readiness, accessing chosen markets, building value, corporate venturing, managing large infrastructure projects, new waste to energy technologies and investor syndication.

The day event is still in development. 2009 entries are due 31 October 2009.
