This must be the wackiest idea on the London Accord website, but also perhaps one of the most intriguing and plausible. An obsession with the fungi kingdom began at a very young age, mostly related to their outstanding contributions to casseroles, stews, quiches, salads etc. Then, a few months ago I spotted a lecture on TED by Paul Stamets (a mycologist) about how mushrooms could 'save the planet' [1].

As much faith as I have in 'shrooms and Paul, I don't quite think these organisms could rid us of inequality or unethical decisions. Although mushrooms could (and in my humble opinion should) play a pivotal role in abating industrially induced change of the biosphere and its rammifications such as drought, soil erosion, pollution and disease.
